I STILL shoot these with the same equipment that I shoot other styles of photography because I want my images to have the correct color and portrait lighting regardless of the composition or pose. I love this style of photography and they can be very fun and "in the moment". When done properly they are priceless images that you will cherish for a long time. BUT just know that these images will run the risk of being more "dated" than other traditional styles, which is FINE if that's what you want.
